Holy Week, Thursday

Today as we move toward the Cross and Resurrection morning!

Thursday: Jesus sense the disciples to the upper room to prepare for the Passover “Seder” meal. Each historical part of the meal, carrying fulfillment tonight in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection! After washing each of their feet, Jesus charges them to be a servant of sacrificial love. During the meal he tells them, tonight he will be betrayed. Each wondering, who will it be, but to Judas he says do it quickly. Then Jesus gives up what we know as the Lords Supper!Our invitation into covenant relationship! Then off to the garden, where Jesus prays to the Father and the angels come and strengthen Him as Judas the soldiers, and the Temple Guards arrive to arrest him…Now it has begun! Redemptions Cost!
