KNOWING JESUS!

How well do you know Jesus.? We attend church, read the bible, hear His words through sermons, bible studies, among other things, because we want to know Him more intimately and what He means to each one of us. As we grow closer to Him we began to see the glorious benefits there are waiting for us. Here are a few things to consider as we grow in our Christian walk. There is forgiveness and freedom, your burdens, past guilt, shame and mistakes are given a clean slate. You will find inner peace that will give you comfort that many will never understand and will help you to navigate life’s anxieties. He will give you true purpose and direction keeping you grounded in who you are and not how the world sees you, and He will give you eternal hope. You receive the assurance of eternal life where there is no fear of death but offering hope for the future. Think of all the bible characters who’s lives were transformed because of their encounters with Jesus, and sometimes it was by just a few small words. It is definitely a journey but the more intimate we become with Him the stronger our faith becomes and no one can take that away from us!

John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, continue to fill us with the Holy Spirit so we may know You more intimately and have a better understanding of who You are to us on a personal level. Be the light in our lives so we may glorify Your name in all we do. In Your precious name we pray. Amen
