There is so much indecision in our country right now with the auto worker and entertainment industries, actors and writers, all on strike because of indecisions on how to settle contracts and make everyone happy. This includes our countries leaders who can’t seem to agree on much of anything! Therefore there is no moving forward. We all face indecisions everyday, think, how many times a day you have to make a decision. Why is it so hard, is it pride because “we” want to be right, or bad experiences from previous decisions that went wrong? Making a decision may not always be the right decision for everyone, but if decisions can’t be reached nothing is accomplished and moving forward is impossible. Relying on our own judgement can be confusing and then we worry about missing an important detail. For we believers, looking to God for guidance will guide our paths straight. He gives us clarity and peace in decision making. We can only hope and pray those that need Him now will know to look to Him for guidance! We know He “is” the “truth, light and way!”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Prayer:
Oh good and gracious God, in the midst of so much indecision in our country right now, we pray for direction for ourselves and so many others. Your know our needs and can only pray that those that need your guidance will listen! In your name we pray. Amen
